My options for custom lighting is either soldering resistors to LEDs, then sleeve them myself or using Cold Cathode light tubes. Depending upon the application, I rarely chose LEDs over Cathodes. That changed when I needed Orange lighting for the Corsair 600T case mod. Try finding Orange Cold cathodes! I just heard about the pre-wired and pre-sleeved LED Kits by NZXT and noticed they’re available in Orange. NZXT has made major strides in offering top quality accessories. It started with their individual sleeved PC cables and USB expansion kit. The LED kits are no exception. I was pleasantly surprised at the $9.99 retail price. ($14.99 for 2 meter long version) The ability to hide the LEDs out of sight was also alluring. The kits are sold in two length variations, 1 meter (39″) for MATX and Mid Tower or 2 meter (78″) for Full Tower cases. The LED bulbs are 3mm diameter. The brightness specification isn’t available.
