CustomPCMAX: Designing your next Gaming PC.

CoolerMaster contacted MNPCTech & CustomPCMAX to mod their CM Scout chasis for them to showcase at the Computex 2009 trade show in Taipei.  All of the modding to the chasis was done by MNPCTech and the system was installed by CustomPCMAX.

We are pleased to announce that AMD/ATI has joined in and is sponsoring our Project Panzerbox. They had been watching the work being done and felt it was a great opportunity for their products to be shown off.

To help us bring this together, they were kind enough to provide us with both a CPU and a GPU.

The CPU they provided is the AMD Phenom™ II X3 720. This is a "Black Edition" CPU which means the multiplier is unlocked and will allow easy overclocking.

The GPU they provided is the ATI Radeon™ HD 4890

We are sure that these components will help us create an extremely fast gaming PC!  This type of support goes to show you just how much AMD/ATI is interested in working with the consumer to shape great gaming solutions.

The CustomPCMAX/MNPCTech gaming PC mod collaboration "Tribute to Wolfentstein" project has earned a “Mod of the Month” nomination on the Bit-Tech forums.   Bit-Tech is a highly regarded UK based PC Modding and Hardware site, so this nomination is very exciting for us.

April 13th, 2009 -

CustomPCMAX has teamed up with another local company, MNPCTech to help design a custom modded gaming PC.  MNPCTech is a local modding company, run by Bill Owen, one of the nation's (if not the universe's) top PC modders. 

The project that is being collaborated on is a tribute to the classic series "Wolfenstein".

Project Summary:

NZXT provided MNPCTech with a pre-release of their new Panzerbox chasis.  The case is being completely modded to the theme of "Wolfenstein".  Everything from new fans, a custom window, a custom painted PSU and a high qualityprofessional paint job, it will be a complete and appropriate tribute to the classic series.

After MNPCTech is done modding the case, CustomPCMAX is going to be installing a gaming system.  Details of this system will be forthcoming.  The system installation will be documented and full benchmarks will be run.
